Back in the mid 70's college graduates were working in pool halls, in short the job market was difficult. I decided the Navy was a good place to start out and after that drifting through several different life/work experiences. If I wanted to keep putting off adulthood it would take some desperate measures. Enter College - something I had sworn that I would stay away from years before. May seem simple but having come from a Blue collar middle class family it was a foreign place. Turns out it wasn't that difficult after all. A Bachelors degree in Graphic Design later and also years of selling Go Karts to pay the bills - skipping the low pay of entry level jobs in the design field has led me to this point, a real live website!
